The Marriage Bureau office for Sussex County is open to the public for the issuance of marriage licenses, ceremonies, and certified copy requests, by appointment only. Please call (302) 853-1717 to schedule your appointment for a marriage license and/or ceremony with the staff in the office (please be sure to leave a message if no one answers). The Marriage Bureau issues marriage licenses, officiates Memorable Marriage ceremonies and provides certified copies of marriage licenses issued in Sussex County, Delaware.
